How to Track Solana Insider Wallets Before the Pump

The biggest trades happen on information you'll never see in a press release.

A project announces a major partnership. The token pumps 40% in an hour. You check the chart and think, "Who bought before the announcement?"

Someone did. Multiple someones, actually. Insider wallets — wallets connected to team members, advisors, friends-and-family rounds — accumulate before public news breaks. And they leave tracks.

This isn't about trading on illegal insider information. It's about reading the data that insiders create — wallet funding, test transactions, and early accumulation — that is visible to anyone watching the right signals.

Step 1: Find the project wallet

Every project has a deployer wallet — the wallet that created the token contract. That wallet is your starting point.

• Find the deployer wallet (the first address in the contract creation transaction).
• Trace upstream: who funded the deployer wallet?

The deployer wallet was funded by someone. That funder wallet is often the team treasury or a core team member's personal wallet. Follow it.

One insider wallet is useful. A cluster of them is a signal you can trade.
